Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and raised there. She attended her school, the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) and at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Her acting journey began as an infant, as she was her role in Me Myself I. and The Farm. Her main focus was theatre. She won the award for Best Newcomer at Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and the award for Best Supporting Actress in The Kid. Television work featured supporting performances on All Saints, Spirited and other shows. The actress was on the screen from 2010 until the year 2011 on The Diary of a Madman. The role she played, she received a nomination for The Sydney Theatre Awards for Best Supporting actress. In February 2011, she travelled across the country to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman prior to returning for principal roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
